RMC Sweden & Radne

A long history.
A shared passion.

Official Rotax distributor since the early 1990s

Rotax MAX Challenge, or RMC, is one of the world’s largest karting series and is built around a common engine platform. Radne Motor AB has been Sweden’s official Rotax Karting distributor since the early 1990s and has organised the Swedish series since it began in 2000.

That experience connects Swedish drivers, clubs and service centres with international Rotax competition. There is a place for drivers taking their next step in karting and for those aiming to race internationally.

Race weekends are about more than points. Preparation, battles on track and friendships in the paddock make the season something to look forward to.

What is Rotax MAX Challenge?

Putting the driver’s performance first.

Shared regulations

A common set of technical rules and controlled, sealed engines help keep competition close. Swedish regulations and supplements sit alongside the international rules.

Room to develop

From juniors to seniors and Masters, there are several stages in a driver’s development. Driving, preparation and decisions on track all make a difference.

A route to the next level

Drivers can qualify for the Grand Finals through national championships and selected international races, under the season’s qualification rules.

The Grand Finals bring together qualifying drivers from around the world. Rotax supplies the racing equipment. Within each class, drivers compete with equivalent chassis, engines and tyres.

The first final took place in Puerto Rico in 2000 with 66 drivers from 19 countries competing in a single class. Today it brings international competition, teamwork and the karting community together.
